Payment Information

We do not collect or store payment card information. Payments are processed directly through Stripe. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle payment data.

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and improve the Gathrd platform
• Send waitlist updates and launch notifications (with your consent)
• Respond to contact form submissions
• Process and facilitate event payments through Stripe
• Send event-related notifications via email or SMS (Twilio)
• Provide customer support (Freshdesk)
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the platform
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Ever.

3. Information Sharing

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With organizers: if you join a group, the organizer can see your profile information and contact details as provided
• With service providers: we share information with third-party services that help us operate the platform (listed in Section 4)
• For legal compliance: when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users
• In a business transfer: in the event of a merger or acquisition, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction

Stripe

Payment processing for paid events and membership dues. Organizers connect their own Stripe accounts. Members' payment information is handled directly by Stripe.
