By accessing or using Gathrd ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
These terms apply to all visitors, members, and organizers who access or use Gathrd in any capacity.
Gathrd is a community events platform that allows individuals to discover local groups, join communities, and attend in-person events. Organizers may create groups, host events, and manage their communities through the platform.
Gathrd is currently in an invite-only alpha phase and is under active development. Features and functionality may change without notice.
To use certain features of Gathrd, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Gathrd cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on Gathrd.
Organizers who create groups and host events on Gathrd agree to additional responsibilities including:
Gathrd reserves the right to remove organizer access for violations of these terms or community guidelines.
You agree not to use Gathrd to:
Some events on Gathrd may have fees set by the organizer. These fees are collected through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
Organizers who collect fees connect their own Stripe accounts directly. Gathrd does not process or hold organizer payments. All payment disputes related to event fees should be directed to the organizer.
Refund policies for paid events are set by the individual organizer. Gathrd is not responsible for refunds related to organizer-hosted events.
The Gathrd name, logo, and platform are owned by Gathrd and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written permission.
Content you post on Gathrd (group descriptions, event details, etc.) remains yours. By posting it, you grant Gathrd a limited license to display it on the platform.
Gathrd is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, or fitness of the Service for any particular purpose.
As an alpha-stage platform, Gathrd may experience downtime, bugs, or unexpected behavior. We will work to resolve issues promptly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gathrd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to the platform or its users.
You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of Gathrd after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
